Vision
The vision statement of the Parkland Pre-Engineering counseling program is guided by our commitment and collaboration to provide a safe, nurturing environment where the entire learning community addresses the developmental needs of all students. We will ensure that all students develop into productive, resilient, ethical and contributing members of society, understanding that post-secondary education is necessary for life-long learning.
Mission
The mission of the Parkland Pre-Engineering Counseling Department is to collaborate with the administrative team, teachers, parents, and community in preparing all students to become successful, responsible, productive citizens and lifelong learners in a diverse and changing world. Our programs are designed to advocate for an environment that supports high achievement and decreases barriers to learning in a safe environment to help all students develop and enhance their academic, social, career, and personal strengths. Through the use of strategic, timely, and personal interventions, Parkland Middle Counselors customize educational experiences in order to empower students to overcome challenges that interfere with learning, make the right choices, and maximize their potential.
