Welcome to the School Counseling

Purpose

Lancaster Counselor Program

The Lancaster Elementary School Counseling Program supports both the school’s and the Ysleta Independent School District’s vision by helping all students become confident, kind, and resilient learners. The program works to eliminate opportunity gaps and ensure that every student has access to a high-quality education that ignites confidence, creativity, and critical thinking. Through classroom lessons, small-group activities, and individual support, students develop problem-solving skills, independence, and empathy. By promoting teamwork, respect, and a growth mindset, the counseling program creates a safe and supportive environment where every child learns with joy, strives for excellence, and grows into a caring, capable leader ready for college, career, and community.
