Welcome to the School Counseling

Purpose

My mission as a school counselor is to serve as an advocate who empowers all students to take ownership of their learning and achieve their personal goals. I strive to create a safe, inclusive environment where high expectations, collaboration, and accountability lead to student success. At Edgemere International, my counseling program is an essential and integral part of the overall educational process, ensuring that all students have equal access to opportunities that promote academic, social/emotional, and physical growth. I believe all students can develop the skills necessary to become productive, resilient citizens who recognize their true value and self-worth. Guided by this vision, the counseling program inspires and prepares students to continue their education beyond high school—whether at a college, university, or other institution of higher learning—so they may reach their maximum potential and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
