Vision

The Del Valle Middle School Comprehensive School Counseling Program ensures that ALL students will have equitable access to the acquisition of the academic, career, and social-emotional skills required to achieve success in a four-year college, university, or institute of higher education, fluent in two or more languages, and to become successful citizens of their community.

Mission

The mission of the Del Valle Middle School Comprehensive School Counseling Program is to support the growth of all students by providing a proactive, developmentally-appropriate approach to obtaining the academic, career and social-emotional skills necessary to succeed in higher education. Through advocacy and collaboration with administrators, families, and community members, we seek to identify and remove potential barriers to success, supporting students in their educational goals through innovation, engagement, and positivity.
